Instamart partnered with Pidge to build a scalable quick commerce execution model that could support rapid demand changes, dark-store operating requirements and city-wise expansion without compromising pickup discipline.

The deployment went live in September 2025 and was executed through the Pidge Powered Network (PPN) as the primary rider supply layer. The objective was not simply to increase rider availability, but to create a supply model where riders could be activated based on demand, trained for dark-store SOPs and deployed with a consistent operating process across locations.

A major part of the model was scan-based pickup and rider-level order verification, which helped create a more controlled handover process at the dark store. Riders were expected to follow defined pickup steps, verify the correct order before movement and operate within a standardized dispatch workflow.

Pidge also supported centralized operational visibility across rider activity, pickup progress, compliance and exceptions. This made it easier to monitor execution quality as supply expanded across stores and cities.

By combining PPN-led rider deployment, SOP alignment, scan-based pickup and centralized operational governance, Pidge helped Instamart move from simple rider availability to a more structured and execution-ready quick commerce supply model designed for scale, consistency and high-demand operating environments.
